HFSM’s Staging Area Manager (STAM) reports that an unexpected injury occurred at the Staging Area. While a vendor was erecting a canopy, a sudden gust of wind lifted the structure and propelled it toward a HAZ‑MAT Response (HMR) contractor. The contractor, Art Vandelay, sustained a significant abrasion to the back of his head and is exhibiting possible concussion symptoms. He is currently being prepared for ambulance transport to Platte County Hospital. This is a Drill!
