Brandon Graves (Mayor of Wheatland) wishes to schedule a public forum with emergency managers and ranking representatives of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Platte County Emergency Management, and HFSM to discuss yesterday’s oil spill in his community. Mayor Graves expresses his desire to address topics relating to air quality, environmental/wildlife impacts, irrigation supply concerns, groundwater contamination, cleanup timelines, etc. He urges the meeting to be held as soon as possible, while offering their Town Hall, located at 600 9th Street in Wheatland, as the preferred venue.
