CULTURAL RESOURCES

Sam Cheal (Operations Manager with Environmental Works) reports that work crews at Site LR‑4 have uncovered multiple objects protruding from freshly disturbed soil while anchoring boom along the Laramie River.  The items appear to be prehistoric arrowheads, lithic tools, and associated cultural materials consistent with a potential archaeological resource site.  The discovery is located on a shallow point bar along the right descending bank, with preliminary coordinates recorded as 42.119795, -104.803025 pending verification.  Crews have suspended all work activities in the immediate area due to potential cultural‑resource and regulatory implications.  This is a Drill!
