Hardy von Forell comes forward, expressing concern that one of his recently-hired ranch hands may have contributed to yesterday’s incident. Earlier this week, his worker was replacing old fenceposts using an auger and may have inadvertently contacted (“bumped into”) the underground crude oil pipeline while drilling holes. Mr. von Forell blames himself, because he didn’t properly warn the worker about the buried pipeline, nor did he make the appropriate “one calls” prior to digging. He promises full cooperation as the investigation unfolds. This is a Drill!
